- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Cyberfaces and portraits for missing players

Release Notes

  1. As noted above, the rosters are accurate as of April 20th, 2008 with all missing players added and lineups accurate as of the first two days of the Playoffs (or in the case of lottery teams, lineups from the last week of the regular season).

  2. Due to Miami currently having seventeen players on their roster due to injury exceptions and NBA Live 08 only allowing fifteen players on a roster, Blake Ahearn has been left in the Free Agent pool and Alonzo Mourning has been moved to the Free Agent pool while Kasib Powell and Stephane Lasme are now on Miami's roster.

I decided to do this as Lasme started the last few games for the Heat and Mourning is out for the season, likely to retire and in the final year of his contract. Note however that in the Uninjured version of the roster, Mourning is back on the Heat's roster. It's not a perfect solution but the best that can be done given what the game supports.

  3. I'm still deciding what I'll do as far as updates throughout the Playoffs. In any case, a final season update will come shortly after the NBA Finals and then offseason updates will begin following the NBA Draft.

Any further questions, suggestions or corrections can be posted in the support forum or sent in via email.

You did a great job.. I just want to ask why Chucky Atkins of the Denver Nuggets wears the jersey number 3 (like Iverson) and Thaddeus Young of the Philadelphia 76ers wears number 33 (like Willie Green)?? As far as I know, Atkins wears #12 as Young wears #21... thanks...

Those oversights have been reported, I've fixed them up ready for the next release. I'm not sure how I didn't catch them before but with all the players in the database, those details sometimes do go unnoticed.

Great job again Andrew!
I glad that you're still using my fix.
However, I would be releasing my next fix 1.4 soon.
It would an honor for me if you would include it again on your next release.

Thanks a lot!

Great rosters, few problems... Vujucic & Farmar can dunk (look on youtube, theres one of Farmar dunking over Duncan).
D-Fish is 68 3-pointer - same as Vujucic. They are both 40%+ from beyond the arc, which is ridiculously high.
Meanwhile Odom is 70 rated in 3-pointers, but he is like 25% from beyond the arc.
Bynum is like an insane dunker, he was second in the league when he got injured (first was Dwight Howard). Look on ESPN, he was 70% FG in, 2.33 blockers per game, 12.2 RPG, and 17+ PPG... Not quite Dwight Howard numbers, but pretty dam good - better than Shaq's 11.1 RPG, 13.1 PPG, 1.5 BPG in the month of April.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/splits?playerId=2748 (bynum)
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/splits?playerId=614 (shaq)
Also, Bynum is 7 1 http://www.andrewbynum.com/
Ronny Turiaf is so much better than 66... he is a great blocker, dunker, and has a solid mid-range jumper.
Chris Paul has to be better than 90, he is a candidate for MVP, common... He can dunk.
Blazers are better than they are given credit for... Brandon Roy is better than high 70s - low 80s, he is their star. 20PPG. Aldridge is better than 70s also, he is their co-star.. he puts up big numbers too.
Kevin Martin is the Queens (Kings) lead scorer now.

ei andrew i think it is much better if all of the creators of patch will work for only one patch because you makin' us confused on with one is the best, but i think and honestly the best patch that we have played is ALBYS REALSITIC Rosters. WHY!?!? Because
- New Go To Moves To superstar players not only that also the unrated players (just fix Kobe's Shot)
- New Alternate Jerseys.
- Better gameplay.
- Fixed Simulation Game Style

wre not here to compete PATCHES, but to make one that will enjoy by the people right, Just Improve Alby's Realistic Roasters and thats it..

TRY IT FOR Yourself Guyz.. PROMISE its a Nice and The Best Patch..

When will the XBox360 and PS3 have its next roster update?
Cause we really need TOR J. Moon and ATL M. West!

Jonathan: Thanks for the feedback, it has been noted.

dzamija: I'm sorry you don't like the roster, if you have anything constructive to say by all means say it. If you prefer Albys' roster that's fine, but I do put a lot of time and effort into the rosters so I don't appreciate that kind of attitude.

pAUL: I addressed your comments in the news post for the NBA Live 07 patch's release. Frankly, I find your comments a bit disrespectful as I do put a lot of time and effort into my rosters and I welcome constructive feedback. I'm not trying to "confuse" anyone; I'm maintaining a roster update as I have done for many years now and Albys is doing one as well. There is no problem whatsoever in having alternatives, so I'm sorry but I'll have to decline your proposition.

Orlando: I can't say for sure because I have nothing to do with the official roster updates, but they're probably not going to release any further official updates at this point. At least, I'd be very surprised if they did.
